Art has always fascinated me since I was a little girl, in all aspects. I also had other fascinations i.e. nature of human kind which led me to study Anthropology for my bachelor degree in Ankara University, Faculty of Languages, History and Geography (2012), then I wanted to dig deeper on humans and had my masters degree on human anatomy in Ege University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Anatomy (2016).

 

However, after I moved to the Netherlands in 2018, I left my entire career to pursue a dream, a childhood passion as an artist and I put all my focus on my artwork. Now I am a self-thought artist who explores the limits of her imagination.

                                                                        

My main subject is people and nature, in all angles. I try to discover my true self as an artist by challenging myself via telling surreal stories with my work. I like to capture a touch, a feeling, a moment with my art that makes people feel something that is hard to define by words, basically a transfer of thoughts without being have to talk.

 

Main inspirations of my work are World fairy tales, mythological stories, witches, fairies, cats and lush nature. 

 

I have tried a lot of techniques and materials in my art journey and now I found my voice. As I was and still am making analog/traditional art, I now like to call myself a digital illustrator, mainly on children’s books. Since 2021 I use procreate and photoshop for my art works.

 

For about a year I am drawing for children and their imagination. I am working on several children’s book concepts, some also including the storyline.
