I am a Netherlands-based artist and illustrator working across original works on paper, artist books, and visual storytelling.

​

Before developing my artistic practice, I studied Anthropology and later completed a Master’s degree in Anatomy. This background continues to shape the way I observe people, bodies, relationships, and the ways we experience and carry emotion.

​

My work often begins with a feeling rather than a fixed concept. I am drawn to experiences that are difficult to put into words, exploring themes of memory, belonging, transformation, loss, and the inner worlds we carry with us.

​

I work primarily with watercolor, ink, pastel, drawing, collage, and mixed media. I embrace texture, imperfection, and unexpected marks, allowing the materials themselves to become part of the storytelling.

Storytelling is central to my practice, particularly storytelling without words. My work moves between original works on paper, artist books, and picture books, allowing an image or idea to take the form that feels most natural to it.

Alongside my independent artistic practice, I have worked as a children’s book illustrator and continue to develop original visual narratives and experimental book projects.

I am currently based in Best, the Netherlands, where I work from my atelier.

​

I am open to exhibitions, gallery opportunities, selected publishing and illustration projects, and creative collaborations.
