About
I am a Netherlands-based, self-taught illustrator working primarily in children’s books, silent visual stories, and narrative illustration.
My work is rooted in visual storytelling, quiet emotion, and atmosphere. I am especially drawn to wordless narratives, where images carry meaning through rhythm, mood, and subtle detail rather than text. Themes such as home, belonging, inner worlds, and transformation frequently shape my work.
Alongside commissioned projects, I develop original picture book concepts and long-form visual stories, with a particular focus on pacing, emotional depth, and narrative structure.
I am currently open to new children’s book and editorial collaborations.
If my work resonates with you, I would be delighted to connect.
